As a teacher, what’s good for me to know?
The Videos
- School Sport Psychology is designed to fit in with existing planned PE sessions (or assemblies/PSHE). The videos are short (approximately 4 minutes long) and can be shown at the start of the lesson.
- Written and produced by an experienced primary school teacher and chartered sport psychologist, this series supports PE teachers in bringing evidence-based psychology into schools in a fun, simple and flexible way.
- In addition to the videos, teachers will have access to resources that provide a flexible and supportive guide for delivering psychology to pupils – the pre-lesson, lesson delivery and post-lesson tips and reflective questions can build confidence in bringing psychological outcomes to PE.
- The wide-ranging benefits of physical activity are frequently used to justify PE’s place in the curriculum, yet this is the chance to bring psychological outcomes to PE lessons that is unique and innovative.
- Teachers and pupils can learn sport psychology together.
- This is a new and evidence-based programme, giving your school the opportunity to bring something different to your PE lessons, find out more about sport psychology and support whole child development.

“School Sport Psychology is really easy to use. The accompanying PDFS were really good – being able to follow through with the pre-lesson, during lesson and post-lesson points was really clear and easy to follow”
